Help Adoption Credits

Interested in getting S.1652 passed? Contact your two Senators to ask them to protect the adoption tax credit and make it refundable. Call the Capitol switch board, ask to be connected to your Senator's office (202) 224-3121. Then ask your Senators to become co-sponsors of S.1652 — the bipartisan Adoption Tax Credit Refundability Act. There is currently legislation introduced in Washington to make the Adoption Tax Credit refundable again (S.1652), but it needs your support (and the support of your congressman) to make it happen. We’ve created this page where you can download a sample letter (in Microsoft “Word or PDF format”). You can then modify the letter to address it to your congressman and personalize it to include a story or any other information you wish.
